Clubs eye Gills forward

In demand: Delroy Facey
In demand: Delroy Facey

Gillingham striker Delroy Facey is being tracked by two sides interested in signing him.

Facey, who fell out of favour under manager Mark Stimson, is on the transfer list and the club confirmed they have been contacted about the 28-year-old.

He has managed just three goals in 32 appearances for the Gills since being signed last summer.

The former Rotherham frontman had a successful loan spell at League Two club Wycombe Wanderers at the end of last season.

Stimson said: "We have been contacted by two clubs so far and they are showing a big interest in Delroy. Now we’re just waiting to speak to him and find out what his plans are."
