5 Kent League teams left in FA Vase

RAMSGATE and Greenwich Borough replay this Tuesday night for the right to visit either Bitton or Christchurch in the FA Vase.

Substitute Graham Taylor came off the bench to get Rams 86th minute equaliser in a 2-2 home draw after extra time against Borough who led through goals by former Faversham midfielder John Mighty and Akim Falola. Aaron Robinson had earlier given Ramsgate an 11th minute lead.

Thamesmead Town's reward for knocking out Maidstone United is a tough looking third round home tie against holders Winchester City.

The South East London club were one of five Kent League teams who figured in the draw after Dean Burns 86th minute winner decided the tie at Bayliss Avenue.

Lee Loveridge put them ahead after 15 minutes, before Maidstone top scorer Richard Sinden put them level just before the hour.

Tunbridge Wells came from 3-1 down to beat Erith Town 4-3 with an 89th minute winner by Steve Ward, and now face a trip to Suffolk to face Bury Town.

Ryan Tomlinson's first half winner put former winners Deal though 1-0 against Witney United. They are now at home to Fareham Town.

FA Vase 3rd round draw(ties to be played on December 11):

Thamesmead Town v Winchester City

Bury Town v Tunbridge Wells

Deal Town v Fareham Town

Bitton or Christchurch v Ramsgate or Greenwich Borough
