Victims of double fatal are named

TWO people killed in a crash on the A2070 at Brenzett, near Ashford, on Saturday, May 29, have been named.

They were 43-year-old Sandra Wildman, from Hastings, and Anthony Harrison, 35, from London. At an inquest opening at Ashford coroner Rachel Redman was told both died from multiple injuries.

Mrs Wildman was pronounced dead at Ashford's William Harvey Hospital. She was driving a red Vauxhall Astra. Mr Harrison, who was driving a grey Ford Escort van, died at the scene.

Samples have been taken for analysis and both inquests were adjourned pending further inquiries.

The two vehicles and a red Mercedes were in collision half-a-mile from the Brenzett roundabout of the A2070.

A further four children and three adults were also taken to hospital with injuries.
