THE centrepiece of Lydd's Christmas decorations is being targetted by vandals who keep stealing the lights from the tree.
Sincelast Thursday around 100 bulbs have been taken.
The cost of their replacement could mean no decorations in the town next year.
Now there are plans to install temporary CCTV cameras at the site.
