Valuable dog stolen from back garden

A COCKER Spaniel worth around £1,000 has been taken from a property in Kent.

The 12-year-old dog, which could be used for breeding, was taken from a locked kennels in a backgarden, in Maidstone Road, Lenham, near Maidstone, after the padlock was forced open between 8.15am and 6pm on January 12.

The Spaniel called Mush is entirely black, except for a small white mark on his chest. The dog is also deaf and walks with a limp so the police are concerned he may be abandoned.
