Trip organised by Kent firm ends in tragedy

NINE Britons on a trip organised by a Christian travel firm from Kent died when their tour bus crashed in Jordan today.

The bus was returning from the ancient city of Petra to the capital Amman. Several survivors were airlifted to hospital.

Pilgrim Travel, based in Deal, oganised the eight-day tour which began on October 23.

The Foreign Office said concerned relatives could telephone 0207 008 0000 for information.
