Three quizzed after attack

A MAN remains in a critical condition in hospital today after being found unconscious in a pub car park following an alleged assault.

The 42-year-old man was injured following an incident outside the Bird In Hand public house at Coxheath, near Maidstone, at around 7.30pm on Saturday.

He was found unconscious in the pub car park and taken to Maidstone Hospital where he remains critically ill. Three men are currently in custody in connection with the incident.

Maidstone and Malling Police have launched an appeal for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to contact 01622 608189 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
