Thieves steal puppies from kennel

FOUR puppies were stolen from an RSPCA kennel sometime between Thursday evening and Friday morning.

The animals are only a few weeks old and are collectively worth more than £1,000.

They were taken from a kennel in Leybourne, near Maidstone between 4.45pm on Thursday and 8.30am on Friday.

All the puppies are Staffordshire bull terriers, three male and one female, with white patches on their stomachs.

The owner of the property believes any offenders could have gained access by forcing a front door.

Police are appealing for information and anyone who can help should contact Kent Police on 01622 604180 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
