Teenager arrested after young man stabbed in the back in Folkestone

A teenager has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Folkestone.

Kent Police were called to Bouverie Road West at 3.25pm yesterday to a report of an assault.

Officers spoke to a man, believed to be in his 20s, who had suffered a suspected stab wound to his back.

He was taken to hospital in Ashford where his condition is described as stable.

An 18-year-old man, from Folkestone, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.
