POLICE have recovered a miniature Shetland pony foal stolen from its owners.

The eight-week-old foal, named Tilly, was taken from her home in Southernden Road, Headcorn, near Maidstone, last Friday afternoon.

Her owner, Lesley Glover, had been extremely worried for the foal's safety as it was not yet fully weaned. Police say they expect to announce details of an arrest shortly.
