The Force was with visitors to Broadstairs High Street when Star Wars characters 'invaded’ the Time and Space sc-fi collectibles shop.

Actor Jeremy Bulloch, who played inter-galatic bounty hunter Boba Fett who tracked and snared hero Han Solo, met fans, chatted about his film work, posed for photographs and signed all manner of memorabilia throughout the day.

He was accompanied by an imperial storm trooper and Boba Fett characters who created an eye-catching stir in the town centre.

Lynne Dyson who owns the business said: “It was a great day. Jeremy was a real star and spent so much time with people interested in his career and the whole Star Wars saga.

“It is another example of Broadstairs traders working hard to generate interest in our town centre in the face of competition from out-of-town retail centres.”

Time and Space hope to hold another special Star Wars day later in the year with actor Kenny Baker who played R2D2 in the films.
