This spotty teenager is being hunted after stealing a mobile phone from a younger boy outside a Ramsgate school.

A 13-year-old was trying to replace his battery by the Ellington and Hereson school when the thief rode past on a bike.

The older boy failed to snatch the phone before threatening the victim - making him hand over the Blackberry.

The young thief then rode off down an alley towards the Prestedge Avenue estate.

Now Kent Police detectives have released an efit of the attacker in a bid for witnesses to come forward.

He is described as white, in his late teens, 5ft 8in, with short black gelled hair brushed to the side and had a spotty complexion.

On the day of the theft, he was wearing a hooded jacket with the top half yellow and the bottom half blue.

The stolen phone is a Blackberry Curve 8520. The attack happened at around 3.40pm on Tuesday, October 2.

Witnesses or anyone who knows the boy is asked to phone Kent Police on 101, giving reference ZY/27887/12, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
