Seven charged after £5million drugs seized

Seven men aged between 37 and 63 have been charged with a range of offences after drugs with a street value of £5million were seized by police.

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate also recovered £200,000 cash following a months-long investigation into drugs supply.

Mark Birch, 48, of Longfield Place, Maidstone; Michael Rodemark, 57, of Pearsons Green Road, Brenchley; Patrick Goodman, 63, of Mile Oak Road, Paddock Wood; and Toby Fieldhouse, 38, of Albion Road, Tunbridge Wells; and Stephen Powers, 56, of Bromley Green Road, Ruckinge, Ashford, Rodney Stacey, 37, of Victoria Road, Capel-Le-Ferne, all face charges of supplying or conspiracy to supply drugs.

Rodemark, Goodman and Stacey face further money laundering offences.

Joseph Boyle, 43, of Dartnell Road, Croydon, is also charged with money laundering offences.
