Police kept away from sensitive files in Green search

Police did not access MPs' sensitive information held on parliamentary computers during their search of Damian Green's office.

Commons Speaker Michael Martin says he wouldn't let officers see the Tory MP's files in connection with a Home Office leak inquiry.

He says they would have needed a warrant.

An interim report on how police handled their operation has now been completed, but details have not been released.
