Pedestrian taken to hospital after row with driver

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an alleged road rage incident between a motorist and a pedestrian in Strood.

The incident happened at about 1.30am on Sunday, December 21 on the A228 at the junction of Cuxton Road and Roman Way.

The pedestrian was taken to the Medway Maritime hospital with cuts and bruises. The injuries weren’t life threatening and the 22 year old male was later released.

A 39 year old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail.

Det Con Lisa Stevens said: "We would like witnesses to come forward who may have seen the incident or seen a silver Audi A4 leaving the scene or driving in the local area.
