New appeal over stabbing incident

DETECTIVES investigating a stabbing incident are appealing to a woman and a man who have vital information to come forward.

The pair, who were not together, were in New Ash Green, near Gravesend when the the area at 1.58am when the incident was occurring to contact them as they could have information that is important to the investigation.

The man is white, aged in his 20’s, he has short dark coloured hair and that night was wearing a dark coloured leather jacket, black trousers and gloves. The woman is also white, she is aged in her late teens – 20’s, and was wearing a white and dark horizontal striped v-necked jumper, her hair was tied back and she was carrying a handbag over her shoulder.

DC Dave Leadbeter said: ‘I am very keen to talk to these two people because I think they will have valuable information that will help the investigation, there is no suggestion that they are in trouble in any way.’

He continued: ‘Perhaps in the days since the stabbing people have remembered other information about what happened that night. We would be very pleased to hear from anyone who saw the incident or has any information about it.’

Three people were taken to hospital following the incident, a 38 year old man, 19 year old man and 17 year old boy. All have since been discharged from hospital and are recovering from their injuries.

Police have arrested a total of 10 people in connection with the incident. One person (Lee Thomas Prescott) has been charged.
