Police are treating as murder the death of a 21-month-old boy from Bexleyheath.
Hospital staff alerted police, and a post mortem examination revealed the youngster died of multiple injuries.
Two people, one believed to be the toddler's 29-year-old mother, and a man, 24, have been arrested and bailed to return to police in February.
