Success could be weeks away for model Charlotte

Pretty Charlotte Partou, has beaten 20,000 hopefuls to reach the final six of GMTV’s Top Model 2009 competition.

The 19-year-old, from Rainham, caught the eye of talent spotters when she was among 100 girls invited to heats in London.

If Charlotte wins she’ll receive an introduction to Independent, one of the UK’s top model agencies, and their own photo shoot in Now Magazine and could possibly become the face of the new Toni and Guy advertising campaign.

It’s not the first time the 5ft 10in beauty has done any modelling work. She once worked as a child model after she was spotted by a model scout at Gatwick Airport when she was 13 years old. She eventually outgrew the agency and left her modelling days behind her, that is until a work colleague saw the GMTV competition and suggested she entered it.

Charlotte, of Camellia Close, said: “I’m so excited. So far we’ve been shown how to walk the cat walk and we’ve attended London Fashion Week. But if I don’t win I plan to try and break in to modelling anyway.”

The public get to vote for the winner from the final three chosen by the judges, with the winner announced on Thursday March 19.
