Man sought after robbery at bookmakers

POLICE are appealing for information after a robbery at a bookmakers in Church Road, Tovil, near Maidstone.

A man entered the premises and demanded money. Cash was handed over and he left the shop, warning staff not to follow him.

No weapon was seen during the incident which happened on Wednesday, November 8, at about 5.45pm.

The offender is described as being of mixed race, aged between 18 and 23, slim, 5ft 5in tall and unshaven. He was wearing a grey hooded top, a dark coloured jacket, dark jeans, white trainers and a white hat.
