Man hit on head with machette

POLICE are investigating after a 40-year old man was struck on the head with a machette.

Officers were called to a house in Woodlands Avenue, Snodland at

about 1.15am on Sunday morning after reports of a fight.

Four men were arrested and held in custody overnight, where they remained today.

The injured man, who lives in Beckenham was taken to Maidstone Hospital with head and arm injuries, described by police as non-life threatening.
