KENT Police attended the scene of a fatal road accident near Ramsgate this morning. It appears that a car collided with a tree in Cottington Road, Cliffsend. A man driving the car died at the scene.
Officers closed Cottington Road while investigators from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit examined the scene.
The man's identity has not been released and his next of kin have not yet been notified.
