Man charged with supplying Class A drugs

A Medway man has been charged with supplying class A drugs.

Aaron Manley, 21, of Woodlands Road, Gillingham was among 20 arrested during a series of dawn raids in Dover involving more than 200 police officers last month.

The two-day operation led to drugs, cash and vehicles being seized.

Kent Police say the swoops took place over two days and targeted the importation, supply and distribution of cocaine.

It was the culmination of an investigation that has lasted more than a year and involved a series of raids across the county.

Of those arrested, eight have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, seven are accused of supplying class A drugs and five others have been bailed pending further investigation.

The raids took place in early April but police say the information was only released on Wednesday so as not to jeapordise an ongoing investigation.
