A friend of Harry Potter actor Rob Knox has broken down in court as he described seeing him stabbed repeatedly.

Tom Hopkins told the Old Bailey how he saw the 18-year-old outside the Metro Bar in Sidcup.

Mr Hopkins was himself stabbed in the head during the incident on May 24 last year.

Mr Knox, from Maidstone Road, on the border of Swanley and Bexley, was allegedly stabbed five times by Karl Norman Bishop.

The actor had just finished filming Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, which is due out this summer.

Bishop, 21, from Sidcup, denies murder and five charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The trial continues.
