THE family of a 17-year-old boy who died when the motorcycle he was riding hit a tree say he was "amazingly talented and respected by everyone".

Jonathan Dent was killed last Friday night in Hever Road, Edenbridge, near Tonbridge, just 10 minutes from his home.

In a statement, the family of the former Oxted School pupil said: "Jonny was a boy like no other, he was so full of love and life that he was dearly loved by everybody who ever met him.

"He was famous for his immense sense of mischievous fun, great courage and generosity. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten."

Jonathan, who played rugby with Edenbridge Rugby Club, was the only son of Fi and Nick and a brother to Lizi.

An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.
