Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish has continued his summer recruitment drive by bringing in exciting youngster Grant Bignell.

Bignell, 18, becomes the club’s 12th signing of the off-season and the eighth new face to arrive in Gillingham.

The British forward played for the Northeast Wisconsin Junior side of the Green Bay Gamblers in the USA last year, but has now opted to return to the UK.

As a youth, Bignell was selected for the English Ice Hockey Association School of Excellence under-14s, where he appeared alongside new teammate Liam Chong.

Parrish said: “Grant is another good addition to our line-up and he fits right into my plans for the new season.

“He is still very young but he already has an excellent work ethic and is determined to continually improve and play at the highest level he can.”

Invicta Dynamos begin the defence of their ENIHL Southern Championship with a trip to Streatham to face the Redskins on Sunday, September 5.
