'Giraffe' beheaded by vandals

A lovingly-crafted giraffe sculpture has been beheaded by vandals.

The landmark, which took six years to make, was cut down by yobs and dumped three miles away.

Amateur gardener Frank Edwards, who created the garden artwork at Boughton Aluph, near Ashford, said: “I felt it was a matter of time before somebody with this sort of mindset would do this."
