Distinctive items stolen in burglary

INTRUDERS who broke into a house in a Kent village stole items including a Tissot stainless steel watch, which had Arabic numerals, a pair of binoculars and an unusual necklace.

Police are investigating the burglary at the property in Mill Lane, Smarden, near Ashford, on Friday, March 23, between 12.15pm and 2.45pm.

PC Darren Brough said: “The necklace is very distinctive It is made of solid silver pendant on a long silver chain. The pendant was fashioned in the shape of a fish, which was articulated so it moved and appeared to ‘swim’.”
