Delays after lorry sheds its load at crossing

Motorists were told to expect delays today after a lorry shed its load near the Dartford Crossing.

Kent Police warned motorists of congestion on the M25 clockwise at the Dartford River Crossing.

It comes after a lorry shed its load at 9am, leaving rubble on the carriageway at junction 2.

Two lanes were earlier closed, as rubble was cleared,but they have now-reopened.

There is queuing traffic at the Dartford River Crossing.
