Coach driver slightly hurt in M20 crash

A COACH carrying about 30 passengers was involved in an accident on the M20 which left two lanes of the London-bound carriageway closed for three hours.

The accident, which is believed to have also involved two lorries, neither of which stopped, happened at about 5.20pm on Sunday on the M20 junction 4 (at Leybourne.

The driver of the single decker coach suffered a hip injury and was taken to Maidstone Hospital. None of the passengers was injured.

Two lanes were closed for some three hours and resulted in some long delays for drivers. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
