Boy cyclist chased and assaulted

POLICE are appealing for information after a boy of 14 was assaulted while riding his pedal cycle.

The incident happened in Maidstone Road, Rainham, between 7.20pm and 7.35pm on Sunday, April 22.

Police say older two boys threw stones at the victim, chased him, pulled him off his bike and then assaulted him. The boy suffered injuries to his face.

The attackers are both described as white males, aged between 16 and 17, and of thin build. One was said to be around 5ft 8in tall with short, blond hair. He was wearing black jogging bottoms with white trainers.

The other is described as being around 6ft tall, with short straight back hair and wearing a blue baseball cap with grey jogging bottoms.
