Alaister Ramsey’s stubborn 83 helped Harvel beat Dartford by three wickets in Saturday’s Kent League Division 2 encounter.

Replying to Dartford’s 240-7, Harvel opener Benjamin Phillips made 48 before Ramsey, batting at No.6, anchored the innings, edging the side toward victory.

Jim Lowrie’s half-century was the mainstay of the of the Dartford innings. He cracked 59, while Ross Allen hit an unbeaten 38 as Dartford reached 240 off their 50 overs.

In Division 3, High Halstow were five-wicket winners at Gravesend where the home side were all out for 131. The visitors replied with 132-5.

Premier Division champions Hartley Country Club beat St Lawrence & Highland Court by 28 runs. Hartley reached 201-9 while Saints replied with a total of 173.

Ben Easter returned figures of 5-39 for the Saints and Carter 5-56 for Hartley.
