Take-over store fully operational

DEBENHAMS in Chatham High Street opened fully at the weekend, just months after taking over the premises from Allders.

Debenhams bought the three-storey shop in March this year and after a brief closure reopened for business on April 1.

But the store is now fully opened with many of the attractions offered by other Debenhams shops.

This includes the popular Designers at Debenhams range, including ranges such as J by Jasper Conran and Butterfly by Matthew Williamson.

The arrival of Debenhams came as a relief after concern about the closure of Allders which had been Chatham’s flagship store.
