Smuggling risk to small businesses

ONE in five corner shops in Kent and other parts of the South East could be closing because of the effect tobacco smuggling is having on business.

A survey by the Tobacco Alliance says small firms are losing almost £1,000 a week, with 25 per cent making staff redundant.
