RUTH Dolan, of solicitors Furley Page's financial services team in Canterbury, has attained part two of the advanced financial planning certificate.

Since joining the firm, Ruth, a taxation and financial planner, has worked mainly for private clients, dealing with personal tax returns and providing recommendations for lump sum investments. She also works closely with the private client department when dealing with the setting up and ongoing management of various types of trusts.

Ruth's evolving role at the firm is to work with financial manager, Simon Ludden, and assist in the development of the firm's investment department.

She is taking the third and final part of the advanced financial planning certificate in April next year.
