Ford reshuffles Fleet's pack

DANNY LYE: joined neighbours Dartford

GRAVESEND & Northfleet's revolving door of comings and goings keeps turning with the departures of Dwayne Plummer, Jamie Coyle and Danny Lye.

Plummer lasted one game, making his debut as a substitute against Margate last week, before leaving for Aylesbury.

Lye, a member of last season's Ryman League, Premier Division, title winning side, has joined ground tenants Dartford while Coyle is thought to have signed for Sutton.

Their departures follow the arrivals from Gillingham of Adrian Pennock and Ben White. Manager Andy Ford has also signed Irish triallist Donal O'Sullivan who is a central defender.

"It's all about balancing the books," said Ford. "We've signed two experienced players and had to let three go."

The Fleet are without a game this Saturday and Ford has given his players the weekend off.
