Ebbsfleet v Grays

Ebbsfleet assistant boss Alan Kimble is hoping the club can kick-start their season with a win over local rivals Grays at Stonebridge Road on Boxing Day (3pm).

The Fleet suffered a 3-1 defeat against York last Saturday and remain 11 points outside the Blue Square Premier play-off zone.

With games against Grays and Oxford (December 28) in the space of two days, Kimble has stressed the importance of putting together a good run of results over the Christmas period.

He said: "We’ve a derby to put things right and we need three points to take us into the game at Oxford."

Kimble disclosed that manager Liam Daish will be looking to bring in new faces during the January transfer window.

Midfielder Neil Barrett is available after missing the York game through illness.
