Inquiries by police revealed the 41-year-old did not own the car and did not have insurance.

Due to the smell of cannabis coming from the vehicle, officers searched it and found bags of the drug and cash.

Mr McCullough was arrested and has now been charged with two counts of possession of class B drugs and driving without insurance.

Officers are continuing to investigate further driving offences and McCullough has been remanded in custody.
