Two more arrested in murder probe

POLICE have made two further arrests in connection with the murder of a man in Folkestone.

The men, one aged 41 and the other 35, were arrested on Friday and are being questioned at police stations in south east Kent. Both live in the Folkestone area.

The victim has been identified as 68-year-old Derek Saxby, who was killed on Monday. He died from a stab wound.

A 36-year-old man, also from the Folkestone area, who was arrested on Tuesday, has been released on police bail while officers continue their enquiries.

Mr Saxby lived in a home run by a charity called the Carr-Gomm Society which helps people with learning, physical or mental health disabilities.

An inquest is expected to open next Thursday, November 25.
