Yacht towed to safety

Dover lifeboat crew have rescued two people from a yacht which caught fire in the English Channel.

The 30-foot yacht Cathala was en route from France to Ramsgate when the engine caught fire.

The two people on board were able to put the fire out, but they were near the Goodwin Sands and having difficulty sailing.

The lifeboat towed the yacht to safety at Dover.
