Police appeal after alleged sex assault near Greenhithe railway station

A woman was said to be shaken and upset after an alleged sex attack near Greenhithe station.

The attack reportedly happened on October 14, but police have just released details.

It's said the woman was approached near Greenhithe railway station in Station Road at around 10.30am on that day, and tried to strike up a conversation.

He is then said to have assaulted her.

The attacker is described as black, in his late 20s and of medium build.

He is described as around 5ft 6ins tall, with short plaited hair, stubble and a mobile phone hands-free earpiece in his left ear.

He wore a black North Face thin coat and navy blue denim jeans.

PC Martin Reynolds, of Kent Police, said: "This was a distressing incident.

"Fortunately the victim was not injured but she has been left shaken and upset."
