A man who is said to have threatened people in Dartford with a hammer has been arrested.
Police have also recovered the alleged weapon which will be destroyed.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police were called at around 12.05am today regarding a reported disturbance in Orchard Street, Dartford.
"Officers attended the scene where a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of affray and taken into custody.
"Patrols also seized a hammer."
The man was later released pending further investigation.
