CANTERBURY kept up their 100 per cent home league record with a positive performance at Polo Farm on Saturday.

Three fine goals during a first half onslaught blew Doncaster away. Canterbury took the lead on nine minutes when Nikki Triggs's initial shot was saved but fell into the path of Cathy Gilliat-Smith who made no mistake from close range.

Mel Clewlow then converted a penalty corner after good work by Susannah Townsend before Hayley Brown made it three on the half hour.

Canterbury maintained their attacking policy in the second half but couldn't add to their first half total. The result leaves them in third.
