KENT County Cricket Club is mourning the loss of a former president, Tom Denne, who died this week. He was 76.
Mr Denne, who had been unwell for some time, was county president in 1987/88, taking over the reigns from Fraser Bird. He handed the mantle on to John Pocock the following season.
Mr Denne lived in the village of Barham, near Canterbury.
