Train journeys between Faversham and Dover Priory have been cancelled after a vehicle hit a bridge near Canterbury East.
Rail officials have told travellers to expect delays until after 1pm this afternoon.
Network Rail engineers have been sent to the scene to assess any damage to the bridge.
Disruption is expected until about 1.15pm.
