Man arrested after Canterbury takeaway delivery driver robbed at knifepoint

A man has been arrested after a delivery driver was robbed at knifepoint.

The driver had been out delivering a takeaway in Parham Close, Canterbury, at about 12.50am yesterday, when they were allegedly approached by a man with a knife.

He is then said to have demanded the victim handed over the food.

No injuries were reported.

Police have since arrested a 22-year-old man from the Canterbury area, on suspicion of robbery.

He has been bailed until January 14.
