Police have been spotted by shoppers having a word with Santa in Canterbury High Street.
A spokesman confirmed that police had questioned the Father Christmas lookalike yesterday as part of a "spot check" but no offences were found to have been committed.
The incident happened at the junction of White Horse Lane and the High Street at 1.30pm.
Let's hope that everyone still gets their presents on time tomorrow morning.
