National Premier Division leaders EuroCanterbury Ladies will look to stamp their authority on the division with victory at Slough on Saturday.

Nick Clarke’s side came from behind to thrash bogey side Olton & West Warwicks 7-2 on Saturday to stay a point ahead of Leicester but extend their lead over the chasing-pack, including Slough, to five points.

Player-coach Mel Clewlow (pictured) said: "We have got a few scores to settle with Slough as they beat us 2-0 at home at the start of the season, but we are a completely different team now than we were then.

"It really is a big game. If we win then we’re eight points ahead of them but if we lose then they are only two points behind us and right back on our tail."

EuroCanterbury are boosted by the return of Katie Evans and Susie Rowe and Clewlow added: "We have a selection dilemma for the first time this weekend. I have no idea what we are going to do."
