A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a lorry driver.
The 27-year-old remains in custody having been taken in yesterday, the Metropolitan Police confirm.
Police were called to reports of a man found injured outside Belvedere Railway Station in Bexley at 10:13am on Saturday, September 18.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, Vitali Skrypniak, 45, died at the scene.
A post-mortem examination held last Tuesday at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Orpington gave cause of death as a single stab wound to the chest.
Mr Skrypniak was from Lviv Oblast in Ukraine.
His family have been told about the latest development and continue to be supported by specially trained officers.
Mr Skrypniak had arrived in the UK on Sunday, August 15, via Dover to transport goods for a logistics company.
