Nick Leavey will be competing in Turin

Sprinter Nick Leavey has been named in Great Britain's team for the forthcoming European Indoor Championships.

The 22-year-old, who lives in Ashford and now runs for Thames Valley, will compete in the 400m in Turin on March 6-8.

Leavey's selection comes hot on the heels of him setting a new indoor personal best of 46.60 over 400m in Birmingham on Saturday.
