Robbers threaten to stab man in Ashford

Police are hunting two robbers who threatened to stab a man in the street.

The victim was walking through the recreation ground at Maunsell Place in Ashford when he was approached by the pair.

They threatened to stab him, before punching him and stealing his mobile phone, bank cards and cash.

The victim did not see a knife.

The two men are described as white, 6ft, in their mid-40s and of medium build.

One had a shaven head and the other had short, dark brown hair and a light-coloured or ginger beard.

The robbery happened between 11.30pm on Sunday and 12.10am on Monday.
